I have no idea what the context of that quote is and don't remember saying it... but I dont know of any other Toastfuzz's either. Weird.

My flying V is loaded with p-90's (and its a high gain crunch machine in Drop B) and my telemaster has a single p90 neck pickup. All though i do love me some medium output PAF style humbuckers too, got those in both my jaguars....

Just got calls/emails about both my SVT and my Squier for sale. Fingers crossed, I might be replenishing my gear fund shortly.

But I've been GAS'n for something with p90's, like this... http://www.rondomusic.com/al2000p90.html
or this... http://www.rondomusic.com/ad2300natwide.html | That second one would be especially cool for doom.
As for a strat, if I were going to play doom on one, which I wouldn't, I'd probably rewire it like one of my friends has his rewired. He has two humbuckers installed, with it wired VVT and the switch replaced with a 3-way. So it still feels like a strat, but electronically is more like a les paul.

Cool looking vintage Ibanez jazz bass here, but looks like GC took a ****** low resolution photo, cropped it in MS paint, and pasted it on a stock background. http://www.vintageguitars.net/produc....cfm?id=213577 | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
