The Wizard Fuzz is just 9v though, right?

I cant think like a guitarist, I'm a bassist, I just end up playing the guitar with the mentality of its a bass tuned higher and I can play chords on it, thats why I want a Bass VI.

Odd internetisms... was randomly browsing threads and found a guy who had a quote of me in his sig: "They upgraded you to Real Wood!"

I have no idea what the context of that quote is and don't remember saying it... but I dont know of any other Toastfuzz's either. Weird.

As do I. My flying V is loaded with p-90's (and its a high gain crunch machine in Drop B) and my telemaster has a single p90 neck pickup. All though i do love me some medium output PAF style humbuckers too, got those in both my jaguars....

Nick, those RAT clips sound killer.

Just got calls/emails about both my SVT and my Squier for sale. Fingers crossed, I might be replenishing my gear fund shortly.

May have an opportunity to pick one up for a relatively good deal.
Do it. I'd love to have one for small gigs with my folk/rock band or for recording/rehearsal.

But I've been GAS'n for something with p90's, like this...

or this...

That second one would be especially cool for doom.

As for a strat, if I were going to play doom on one, which I wouldn't, I'd probably rewire it like one of my friends has his rewired. He has two humbuckers installed, with it wired VVT and the switch replaced with a 3-way. So it still feels like a strat, but electronically is more like a les paul.

LOL. Cool looking vintage Ibanez jazz bass here, but looks like GC took a ****** low resolution photo, cropped it in MS paint, and pasted it on a stock background.
