Anyone got any opinions on an Ampeg SVT 3 Pro? Got an offer for one in trade. I'm pretty sure I won't like it unless someone can convince me.

Blah, grinds a bit better then a 4 pro. Trade for what?

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Blah. SVT 3 pro + cash for my Black Eagle. I'm not really feeling it.

I have one. I can get it to sound 95% like my all tube vb2. I keep wanting more power but as a back up its been perfect. Got it for 300. MOSFET bias was off but that's a 5 min fix.

That said… I been thinking of trading it for a 1k terror bass. Laz is a good salesman.

el oso should be another tb standard! i run mine at about 2 o'clock mix and either 12 o'clock gain after the bluebeard or dimed gain if by itself.

Yeah I hear ya. Neither am I. The only one that was ok was the 8-Pro.

Yeah I've heard that they're pretty under powered and only ok for a backup.
