I know, if I still had admin rights I'd be on Chrome right now.

The "no other side effects" part is what leads me to believe its a software issue crashing and not an expected behavior. Like I said, in my experience any work content filter made it expressly obvious that you were trying to access inappropriate content.

I've taken 2 years of java programming. It's a PITA. I'll sum it up by saying go try to sweet talk to your IT and ask them to upgrade your java or risk breaking some company security policies to play with your site lol.

I used to go as far as to put a portable version of firefox on a flash drive and run it at work... that's a HUGE no no though and I do not recommend it for anyone if you enjoy being employed :P.

Well...it's not that important. I just have a distortion pedal I wanted to experiment with on my lunch break.

Ampegfuzz is right, church is in session.
Btw, that show we could be playing would be at the Alter bar, very fitting. Wouldn't even mention it since nothing's final but we're really excited.

Thinking of trading off my fender p... so happy with this sterling sub and I would never get rid of my traben because it looks like hot sex.

I will update manually every once in a while.

Maybe we're talking about different things.

Edit: Well not everytime. But sometimes and enough for me to be annoyed. I'm not computer savvy though.
Happens to me too. Everyday. Happens on this site, Facebook, even just google search. My IT group is stumped. They told me not to go to vimeo anymore and other sites like it. But why would a text based site like TB effect it so much?

My work filter also blocks sites like youtube and other streaming/offensive pages. The shut down thing sucks, though.

New ones use new web technology, new plugins, new bullsh*t. My desktop computer at home is pretty old and slow, but surely fast enough to watch a movie / browse the web / do some light recording. I get extremely pissed when the only reason I feel the need to upgrade my PC is because advertisements on web pages overload my f***ing RAM or conflict with my video drivers and crash the PC. Purely for advertisements.

Yeah I got that list of shows email from Drusky's. Unfortunately we don't really fit into any of the shows they're currently booking for.

I get to work off company supplied customer oriented WiFi on a laptop, the wifi has no filters but i do have a camera right over my shoulder so i have to watch what i look at. On the down side it is a company laptop that has admin settings so i can't install anything, but they loaded it with chrome because one of our companies programs will not work with IE. Guess I lucked out.

Honestly, I just read through the list again, Overkill is the only band I even recognize. Metalcore, electro pop, country... yeesh. Needs to be all Doom bands.

I'm the network engineer. I control the switches, routers, and have admin privileges to any machine in Computer Science. I do whatever the **** I want! No rules!

Yeah, I'm pretty against pay to play. There needs to be band that makes me say "holy **** we could play with them?!" before I'll even consider doing it.

Any thoughts?
Get a smart phone, problem solved. I ran into that once at work. If first started with pictures not able to open, then sites that got shut off. Get off the grid.

That, and if they are the type of company that Blocks stuff, they are probably the type of company that logs everything you are doing on your computer.
