Edit: And of course, I'm a page and half late. Would love to see these shows. Probably don't have a UK vacation in the budget, though.

Accounting servers/ERP Servers/SQL Servers/Exchange Servers/Tape backup/Active Directory/AV/Networking/Switches/WAPs/Mac + PC Hardware + software support/Door security/electrical wiring/heavy lifting/Photography/Locksmith (I use coathangers to unlike girls doors on occasion) and plenty of **** I'm forgetting most likely. I would still do Duel though, since that movie relies on the music so much. |

Any suggestions from you vinyl connoisseurs? | Not sure if someone else touched on this or not, but does it skip on every record near the beginning, or just one particular one? Is it skipping before it hits the actual track (during the silent bit in the beginning), or only once the needle hits the track? if it's on any record, my first thought is make sure your tracking weight and anti-skating is setup properly. Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir, but this is a quick setup guide: http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Set_Up_a_Turntable
I'm no guru, but I know a bit about turntable setup. I'm rocking my father in law's vintage Yamaha YP-211 TT with a Grado cartridge (I added some platter damping) and Yamaha "Natural Sound" phono pre, then out to my Harmon Kardon AVR247 amp/receiver powering Polk Monitor 50 speakers and Sub. Nothing crazy, but it sounds nice. |

They make a few different models with this being the smallest.

This subject always interests me. | The bass and pedalboard will be coming with me (same with our guitarists, drummer brings his cymbls and sticks). We're relying on Conan for amps and cabs, they have a lot of awesome amps, so even if they aren't the same as what we use at home (which is unlikely) there will be some cool stuff. We did this when we played roadburn too, I ended up using a 500 watt Ashdown with an 8x10 for our saturday set, and a SVT-4pro with 2 8x10's for the sunday set. Worked out pretty well, wasn't my exact tone, but close enough for sure.
I'm not sure what the bass gear is currently, but I know a few cabs and amps will be involved, and worse comes to worse I'll rent a power amp and just use the B7K as my preamp. I'm currently restructuring my pedalboard as I downgraded, and then realized I missed my freqbox, so now it's back and I'm re-thinking a few things. |

The only guy I've had the chance to ask what he gigs with over seas only uses a sansamp
So I wanted to know what other bands did.
Thanks for the answer. |

Thanks for the answer. | We use power supplies that will run at 110/220 so all we need is the correct plug.
