does anyone in the thread play or have played a 2000S/350B for stoner/doom?
I play through the cab, but not the amp. Haven't seen one for affordable dough.
The user D.M.N. has posted some videos of his rock band where he's playing with one, though, and he gets a great snarl out of it that would probably go well with stoner/doom.
Your playing is great but you should either make a video of just doing different settings, or at least put time markers for changes in the comments so you can hear the versatility :P
https://soundcloud.com/#still-valley/12-22-intro Alright, I didn't feel like going through the thread to find the embed code, and I don't remember/should have wrote it down, when Corey posted it last time. LOL.
I might redo the vocal part. Keep in mind, this song would be played as we are about to start playing. This lets us turn on the amps, plug in boards, tune up, and ready the fuzz cloud for Treked. https://soundcloud.com/still-valley/treked-1
Opinions please.
Sorry I haven't had a chance to record any noise stuff. I have been mega busy getting everything together for this show on 12/22. Thanks ya'll.
joe, the tunes are sounding great man. My opinion, it wouldn't hurt for the drums to let go a bit more...

What are the controls on there?
wouldnt expect to hear that but i will try to do mic'd sound cloud clip with comments/notation
I think my drummer gets nervous like I'm not going to like what he does. His other post band from s few years back were awesome. I know his chops are there. I'll try to encourage him more

You don't have to be weird about it. Just say hey, would you mind trying to do "this" and see how it sounds? Should be able to make suggestions to your band mates.
I bought too shallow of an enclosure so Ill have to make sides for it, im thinking wood or plexiglass. I didnt get a chance to use it, but my guitarist says its crazy awesome now.

holy hell, that's a great sound, and close to what i want my clean tone to sound like (with a rick, not a p, and flats rather than rounds).
pretty damn cool. expensive as hell now, though.. i would probably have to get a clone built.

Those early Sunns are based pretty much on Dynaco stuff. They're not especially complex compared to some of the amps that came later.
I think what I'd like to have is a clone of a 2000S amp, with a bypass-able active mid knob, and voltage regulator thingy type master knob like on the Mesa D-180.
