Just triple check your measurement before you drop the money on the pup. Just trying to help on a posable headache. And laz, that pic gives me serious GAS.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Buffalo,NY | | | Me too. I really like how the SG shape looks. When I was about a year/year and a half into playing bass I saw Poison The Well play at a show. Their bass player had a white SG that looks super sweet.
After that show I was determined to buy a 2 pup SG as my 2nd bass. For some reason I was fixated on the idea of having 2 pick ups in my next bass(my first bass being a Precision) for maximum tonez.
I went to a guitar shop and found a vintage Gibson EB(what I thought of as a SG) for $1,800. Being young and not having the internet I had almost no knowledge of gear. So after being crushed at the price I went and bought a black Epi EB-3. That was ten years ago. All this talk of modding makes me want to trick my old bass out.
(I found out years later that the guy from Poison The Well didn`t play a Gibson SG but a LTD Viper)
