Well, there's a new forum. I don't like it. I never posted there, but use it for work sometimes. It's bad and they should feel bad.

The first album was a MM, got out to TB land and ask the tim c nerds . And one or both of those RHCP albums was a Wal bass.

I think that Mother's Milk was recorded with a Spector and BSSM with a Wal

BSSM is not recorded with a wal, theres videos of him tracking with a musicman stingray on the making of the album video.

could be wrong about mothers milk, but i never saw him use a spector ever and i was a huge flea fan boy.

edit: guess he did use a wal and a stringray or BSSM, not a lot of wal shots in Funky Monks.

Anyone ever see Flea's "instructional" video? I was expecting some real knowledge, I get about 55 minutes of him high as a kite chatting with River Phoenix. I whip it out every once in a while just to laugh at how baked they are.

Meeting with a band on Sunday... actually nervous. It's a doomy trio and the singer/gutiarist seemed like a cool guy. Spent all last night getting their set list on mp3 to listen to in my car. Here's hoping .

Iirc he didnt have any form of formal music theory before this latest album. One of the reasons it took so long is Flea went to school. Can you imagine walking into your music theory 101 and sitting next to Flea?

I breadboarded a Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal last night. I made one mod so far and I like it a lot. I'm gonna study the circuit for a bit to see what else I can squeeze out of it.

This seems like it could be a kick ass overdrive.

With news that Britney Spears may have a Vegas residency it made me wonder if Metallica should do that as well.

Their credibility is in the toilet but they still have some kick ass songs.

Do you think they could pull Celine Dion money?
