1. My 91 ProCo Rat is acting up and not working.
2. My 9 volt clip on my Green Big muff fell to shambles and needs replaced.
3. After nerding with my little rig found one of my big problems is the tone suck from my vintage Doctor Q (Its eating high end i cant replace with EQ)
So all three pedal are down or need work. LAME! |

I worked late and took a really short lunch on the road today. Was supposed to go to a movie night at a friend's house, but I am beat. So I'm just slowly turning into a puddle at home tonight. Quote:

My go to recording setup on the last two projects I recorded for were SM57 and RE20 close up, an AT4047 about 3 ft back for room sound and post pedalboard DI.

I watched your strobe video like some sort of interwebz campfire. I really dig your tone. What are you running? I was mentally trying to will your clip to play me some Sleep riffs! I don't think it worked out. I will try again later though.

Gig last night, wasn't too bad. Opening night of a 3 day mini-festival thing. Door fee included entry to the other 2 days but a lot of people going only came to see the metal bands - so the higher door cost scared a lot of people off.
The bassist in the second band broke a string early in the set, just as the first bassist was changing over the same string broke on his bass. I managed to get my bass in tune and up on stage quick enough. Now he wants my bass.
Our set wasn't without problems - rhythm guitarist broke things off with his girlfriend earlier in the day so he was in a terrific mood. Lead guitar/vocals got some bad news about family member in hospital so he drunk himself stupid, could hardly stand up on stage. He broke a string in the second song (see a running theme here?) and borrowed a spare guitar. Crowd loved us even though we played like complete shvt and screwed up half the set.
Lesson learned? Never let the crowd know you fvcked up and play harder!

super simple in that vid. I was doing more drone as I learned that I could **** with the strobe light based on how I played. |
