Something like that could be cool w/ a walkabout-style pre. | The guitarist in my black metal band has one of those old Peavey amps with the tube power section and solid state preamp section. Sounds great with a dirt pedal. |

Suggestions? | wait a minute, your bassballs is plugged in backwards and your phaser has no input. that was like a fun game of 'i spy' trying to work that out. |

| | | | Hi guys,
I'm not in a band yet, it's impossible to find anyone who likes this kind of music in Ohio, but I'm digging reading this thread and listening to all your guys' bands.
Are any of you guys from around Cleveland? I'm trying to find the good metal scene here, but everyone likes Five Finger Death Punch.... |

| | | | Wow, I guess I didn't realize we did have a decent amount of stoner rock bands... Interesting. I'm not a big fan of stoner rock though, The Sword's the only one I can tolerate because I love their lyrics. I'm more into metal...
I did like Mockingbird and By Way of Sunstorm, thanks for pointing those out. I'll follow them, go to some shows if they're nearby or something and see if I can meet some people. |

Does anyone here have one of these pedals? What do you think?
Or,
Does anyone here use blender pedals? What do you use, and how do you like it?

I love the DK, it's replaced my other pedals as my favorite/go to gain pedal.
I also have my DK modded with a clean blend, personally I like being able to add just a little bit of clean to a distortion/overdrive pedal. It adds a lot of depth and clarity to the low end, it works great for me.
As far as clean blend pedals go the Boss LS-2 is a great and cheap option, plus it can be used for all sorts of other things.
I've heard good things about the Xotic, and One Control blends. But I'm thinking of picking up a Badger Schism to try out parallel blending and all sorts of other cool stuff. |

The VFE Triumverate seems interesting but might be too high gain.
