I'm lazy, so I don't. Basically I get new cables for christmas and my birthday, as my relatives know it's something easy to buy that I always need.

Perhaps there's some tiny, minute difference in sound quality. I don't think there is, but I'm willing to admit the possibility. However, with the kind of tone I go for, even if there was (which I don't think there is), it wouldn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

Cable quality to me is purely durability.

I think my guitarists amp is sh!tting out. It was choppy, cuttin in and out during practice.
I did get him on a rat pedal. Sounded good and thick. He was diggin it.

Hopefully cleaning his pots will fix it. It's one of those 80s peavey 2x12 combos with a tube power section and digital pre. It is louder than hell though. Especially on top of a 4x12.
It's about time for a real head anyway

The main reason is I can't fit two in my car at the same time. It would be total overkill until I can get both to shows ha ha. Who am I kidding though if it is available in two weeks I'll probably pick it up.

Got Sam's Pharaoh today. I have our second band practice for the new project tonight. I'm going to bring it along, try it out with my P bass for a bit and let our guitarist try it out as well.

I'd love to find one, two would be even better.

When my band opened for Botch in 97 arrangements were made to surprise them with an orchestral gong so they could play O Fortuna
"Oh yeah we would love to play that but we can't because we need a gong"
"Look over there"
"......"
We were treated to the singer punching the gong while they played one of the best songs ever.

Couch strap and wallet came in. REALLY nice. Well made. Couch fake money/instructions in the wallet. Funny. Gotta love small builder/businesses. Strap is damn comfy! Good call guys. Again.

My guitarist in my black metal band has just the head version, on top of the biggest guitar 4x12 I've ever seen. It can get ridiculously loud.

nobody who uses the correct day/month/year format

those couch straps - reckon they'd be good for shirtless playing? my strap made of animals is quite 'sticky' on bare skin, especially when sweaty.

I got a Couch strap for Christmas from the girlfriend! Ordering a belt and a wallet (maybe) right now.

Well, we'll probably be recording that day. My birthday is just two days before that!

Good on bare skin? Probably not. They're made from NOS muscle car vinyl. That would also probably stick to you when sweaty.

The seatbelt style might be better than the vinyl.

As Laz said, might still be sticky.

Yep. Maybe the seatbelt one but they'll burn your skin easy. Your best bet is cotton or hemp. Levy's leather straps has a few nice cotton ones.

I love my hemp strap. Still good after 12 yrs.
