Basically I get new cables for christmas and my birthday, as my relatives know it's something easy to buy that I always need.
Perhaps there's some tiny, minute difference in sound quality. I don't think there is, but I'm willing to admit the possibility. However, with the kind of tone I go for, even if there was (which I don't think there is), it wouldn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
Cable quality to me is purely durability. |

I did get him on a rat pedal. Sounded good and thick. He was diggin it.
Hopefully cleaning his pots will fix it. It's one of those 80s peavey 2x12 combos with a tube power section and digital pre. It is louder than hell though. Especially on top of a 4x12.
It's about time for a real head anyway

"Oh yeah we would love to play that but we can't because we need a gong"
"Look over there"
"......"
We were treated to the singer punching the gong while they played one of the best songs ever.

It's about time for a real head anyway | My guitarist in my black metal band has just the head version, on top of the biggest guitar 4x12 I've ever seen. It can get ridiculously loud. |

those couch straps - reckon they'd be good for shirtless playing? my strap made of animals is quite 'sticky' on bare skin, especially when sweaty. |

I got a Couch strap for Christmas from the girlfriend! Ordering a belt and a wallet (maybe) right now.

As Laz said, might still be sticky.

I love my hemp strap. Still good after 12 yrs. |
