handy for any travel where I need to use other rigs, too. unconventional setups like ours occasionally need some taming wherever you go!

+1, the fdeck isn't very expensive and it doesn't take up that much room. I'd wait until you have the amp and you can determine if you'd even get any benefit out of it.

-40 is the same in both C and F. Mind blowing!

With the windchill it is like -15 here and I can barely take it. Flabbergasted at people riding bikes to work. I'm outside for 30s and my face feels like it's freezing off.

It was down to 29F here last week. That's like a weather apocalypse in central California. I had to put on a jacket AND a hat.

Hahaha. Well the heaviest coat I own is actually just a Carhartt zip up hoody, so I kind of am Laz'ing myself. A less lazy person would have bought a real coat by now.

In Maryland when it would snow around 35 degrees I would go to the grocery store in gym shorts, flip flops and a hoody. The looks I got from people who were dressed like the apocalypse was coming were hilarious.

Thanks or the invite Lazurus.
Going to repost this here:

Been trying to find some more bands to check out. Been listening to a lot of Swedish and German bands to get my fill. Really love that retro guitar and bass sound more on the rock than metal side I guess. I see a lot of posts on Stoner Doom, and thought it would be fun to list bands. Anyway thought I would list some bands I am digging and see if you dig them and see what anyone else can add to the list.

Asteroid, Rotor (Germany, not the one from Texas). Graveyard, Radio Moscow, Causa Sui, Hypnos 69, Danava, Colour Haze, Brutus, Zipper, Dead Man, On Tail Forever, Kings of Frog Island, High On Fire, Siena Root, Brutus , Horisont, Witchcraft, Drunk Horse, Haiabusa, Great Mammoth, Tame Impala.
Hopefully that will get the ball rolling.

If you use Spotify, I made a playlist of a lot of bands that some people here have added to. Lots of good bands here: http://open.spotify.com/user/1236134...bGk9Do3RqA2Y5S
