Of course to each their own. |

Of course to each their own. | Love Hendricks! If you can find some, or next time you're through the MD/VA area, grab a bottle of this:
It reminds me of Hendricks, and has that velvety mouth feel. And you totally nailed it Gin drunk is an entirely different drunk.
Catoctin Creek also makes a white rye whiskey and an amazing aged rye, if you're into whiskey as well.

Looks like word is getting out about Nick's abilities. | I do have some good fanbois. I talked to Mike about an amp but was not feasible at this moment. I do not think Pallbearer has the budge for something at this moment.
People seem to like to spread me around. Word of mouth is how most of my builds are done. |

As far as the family, baby momma is due on Thursday. The rest of the kids are doing well. I'm just ready for my son to get here.

Still just working on major minor and dom chords but I've gotten pretty good with notes on the fretboard and sight reading has gotten pretty easy for me. Really haven't seen a whole lot of crossover from what I've been learning to what I do playing with my band, but I definitely feel like I'm improving overall as a musician. |

Cool man. I used to take lessons from a guy that was in a pretty cool funk fusion band. He was like so you already know how to play, what do you want to know? Teach me some funk! It was fun stuff... not really a big fan of slap n' pop but I learned some finger technique that was valuable. I kinda want to find another good teacher... it's rough because most seem to be hacks just looking to teach beginners how to play mary had a little lamb or smoke on the water. |

I need to expand my musical vocabulary some, and I have so e technique issues to work through. My previous lessons had devolved into me learning new songs every week, which was good at first, but didn't lead me to where I wanted to go. It's been a year and a half though, so it's probably time to give them a try again now that I've grown as a player and have new questions to ask.

He teaches grad level upright at Duquesne (one of the most respected music universities in the country), has been a successful professional musician for over 25 years, knows Carol Kaye, etc etc. Very highly respected player.
I'm really enjoying lessons from him. From day one he said I have very little to work on in terms of playing technique, so we've focused mainly on theory since I don't really know any. You'd expect a professional jazz bassist like that to be somewhat snobby but he treats me with the up most respect and while he might not be into metal he recognizes the musicianship behind my band's music. Couldn't have found a better teacher, I love going to bass lessons. |

Sam, you guys are going to blow up! So good. And the sound on that video isn't too shabby either. Makes me think I did something wrong to record our show.
Yay! Blender is back on the boards!
Just did my drummers front brakes yesterday. He said he was going to give me $100. I like where I am volume wise and all, so no rush on those 15" speakers...which is kinda disappointing in a way. But now I can grab that Ocatave Fuzz! Will also need new instrument cable with right angle so I have enough room on the board. So that right there is $80 atleast... $20 left. Probably just get some odds and ends for now.

I know enough to get by but not as much as I'd like. That's cool man I might look for a teacher around here soon once things settle some more. Hard to find good people around beaver. |

Jim Beam and Jack Daniels premixed or poured into coke.
...and I get weird looks when I drink my Jameson straight.
Loved the new track Sam!
