The inside of the fuzz pedal.

Looks like its Silicon FuzzFace but I do see 2 diodes. They could be part of the feedback loop in the FF circuit I have seen that before

Runs a 9 volt for each switch. Fuzz and boost switches. Only a volume for each.

It's crazy. So heavy. Wood and metal. Huge. My guitarist was saying I shouldn't mod it to have 9v power jacks. Said it would hurt the value and it might not sound as good. Can't find anything on it to say who made it.

That's not a dream. That's a full blown nightmare.

damn no idea. Throw some batteries in and rock it!

DethByDoom 01-29-2013 08:42 AM

I know that's right!

He said some guy made it for him in the 70s. The boost was the big deal about the pedal.

dunwichamps 01-29-2013 08:42 AM

Could be like a fuzzface + a boost stage

You could always get some of those 9v battery connector adapters. Run them through a hole in the bottom of the chasis (if there is a place to do that). Avoids having to mod the pedal, and you can still run it off a power supply. I've done this with a bunch of battery only pedals over the years.

You should also trace the scheme if you have some time

Man I wouldn't even know where to begin. My schematic reading is questionable. Maybe after I play with it a bit you could borrow and poke around in it your self? If you want.

dunwichamps 01-29-2013 09:25 AM

possibly. A bit busy at this moment tho

Coffee and pervin my preamp pedal pr0n...yumadumdum.

Mark from BNA also emailed me last night to let me know all the parts for my Dually should be ready to assemble in about a week. Looks like this new rig should come together just about in time for when we start recording our demo. So I'll get plenty of quality time to experiment with it and make some good gear demo clips as well.
