split will be our first release, as an experiment we're doing a ghetto version of 'full analogue' - 4 track cassette recorder, two ambient mics and two drum mics, live in one take, send the master tape to lathe-cut-vinyl-guy and get 20-100 copies done - should be entertaining.

we're doing some solo cassette releases for cheap, then thinking a split 7" lathe release, then a split 12" release, then a solo 7" lathe release then later a real pressed vinyl 12" - hopefully. if we make enough money.

My gear savings fund (the wad of cash I keep in my dresser) is reaching critical proportions. I'm pretty happy with my Squier Jaguar, but I think I might upgrade to a new bass in the thousand dollar range. Thinking about a mij or Mia precision, or may e a Reverend decision.

So, I'm thinking about getting a new pedal. I have no needs; it isn't for a specific purpose. I just want a new toy. Lay on me some recommendations.

I just stumbled upon an old boss ce2 chorus. I'm in love. Best sounding chorus I've used on bass.

Uuuugh. It seems that whenever I have a little extra money to do something I might want to do or something I might want to buy, LIFE comes along with other plans. Last year it was a root canal and crown with a ton of out of pocket expenses. I would have been happy spending that on ANYTHING else. This year my brother decided to get married in Florida on EASTER!! Thanks bro... Just me and the easter crew, and anyone wanting to go to FL. on spring break... woot. Flights are not cheap this time of year.

So I am not sure if my tax return will survive very long. I'd better spend it before something else does. lol.

Someone might be able to pick up a Ric on the cheap. No hardcase, and the dude was upset, understandably, from a lowball GC offer. He wants something between the low of $850 and $1700. The finish doesn't do too much for me, but someone else might like it.

I have been looking for one too ever since I played with an OCD. But I don't think I need all that the Demon King rolls with. I am not big into feedback or gate effects. I DO want a second drive though. I might just suck it up and order one.

Now the big question. What finish option to go with? My impatience says Kid Art, but we will see.

I say delay as well. i never owned a delay but i am thinking of incorporating some. been looking at Earthquaker...or a Fairfield Operator feedback loop.
