So I am not sure if my tax return will survive very long. I'd better spend it before something else does. lol.
Oh, Did you see this? http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/msg/3585808260.html
Someone might be able to pick up a Ric on the cheap. No hardcase, and the dude was upset, understandably, from a lowball GC offer. He wants something between the low of $850 and $1700. The finish doesn't do too much for me, but someone else might like it. | That Ric is sweet. Same finish as my copy. Sadly I don't have the money for it now. |

Having listened to Monobrow, I would recommend looking for something with a tap tempo. As it makes it so much easier to lock in a sync'd up delay time, which really can make all the difference when making delay work within a band.
Way Huge Supa-Puss & EHX Deluxe Memory Boy are the two analog tap tempo delays I would recommend for checking out (especially since after those two there's about a $400 price gap before the next models -JHS, Diamond, Moog, EHX). Also that new Ibanez Echo Shifter which is coming out later this month looks rather interesting (I'll probably be picking one up when they are out).
If you're not looking for analog, the only digital delay that has impressed me in around 5 years is the Catalinbread EchoRec, which is based on a Binson Echo Rec, and I have to say, that thing sound so close to a real tape echo, that it's upsetting. The coolest thing (other than it's amazing acuracy) it that it can do really cool rythmic delays, so you can get cool patterns and accents depending on how you set it. I've also heard great things about the EQD Disaster Transport, but I've never had experience with it. (note neither of these have tap tempo).
Also, it just so happens that I have two of the delays mentioned for sale in the classifieds (supa-puss, and echorec). And really the only reason I'm selling them is that I'm downsizing my gear and I already have a real Tape echo, and my delay of choice is the Moog 104M, which for me is perfect. | thanks Ron! the tap tempo would be handy but size is also important for me, as space on the board is at a premium. The Echorec looks cool, I'm going to check out some EQD stuff this weekend depending on how that goes I may hit you up about it. |

Tap tempo and board space definitely get tricky, at least in the analog world. I'm pretty sure the Way huge is the smallest one out there, but it's still a lot bigger than an MXR sized pedal (like the echorec).
Let me know, also have fun testing out delays...still my favorite effect. |

I have an older El Raton and it so awesome, called the Alpha Dog now, more functions then the junior, but all I ever use is the function that is on the junior anyway, killer vintage rat sound. Thought I would pass this along, great pedals from a great guy to deal with. $80 dollar rat with the proper diode, a sticker, and a tshirt, killer deal. Peter fixed my pedal for free with free shipping back to me and I got it used, great dude!!! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-junior-series

I have been looking for one too ever since I played with an OCD. But I don't think I need all that the Demon King rolls with. I am not big into feedback or gate effects. I DO want a second drive though. I might just suck it up and order one.
Now the big question. What finish option to go with? My impatience says Kid Art, but we will see.
@ RON, Do you really like the clean blend option? I wonder if Ryan can put one on the smaller two-drive pedal, and how long that might take to see. | Yeah I saw that but I've got an osd rat tail combo pedal in mind. I think I'll forego the kids paint to see what kinds art they come up with. Quote:
