AW got their set cut short because the band before took too long to set up. Not to mention everyone was on the singer guy's jock because it was billed as his birthday show. Kinda lame...not a huge fan of the singer or his band. AW had to cut out two badass songs I would have liked to hear. |

We've got another show set up for March 1st, things are coming along nicely. I'm glad that years of going to shows and talking up the locals is finally paying off. This has been easier than I expected. |

| | | Hey guys, has anyone had experience with these amps? This looks like a good deal, and I know I wanted a 2x15". I want to play stuff like ISIS and Russian Circles and also more towards the ambient atmospheric side of metal, but I want an amp that can also do the nasty sludge drone stuff with tone like Zoroaster or Sunn O))). One of my old friends used a crazy Peavey head for deathcore so I figured this might be good for some face melting? http://cleveland.craigslist.org/msg/3526513104.html |

But if you like the sound of it thats what matters

| | | | Yeah, I do plan on eventually getting a decent amount of pedals. Are most solid-state heads generally sterile in sound? This seems like a pretty good price, so I may go for it if it's still here at the end of the month especially if I can add another cab as you say. |

I listened to them passively for years, as I grew up in Florida, (the death metal capital of the world in those days). But I worked as a record store for a while and he turned me on to them. I really dig Gateways To Annihilation. The opening song, how Kawazu bleeds into Summoning Redemption, that... to me.. is what they are about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhKWW07zwvc
Just hammering a dragging guitar riff over the coals of Pete Sandoval's drums. That riff is pretty simple but just gets better the more you hear it. And for death metal vocals, I dig it. Not overly Cookie Monster and not screaming. Like Goldilocks, just right.
I will have to give another listen to Domination. I have a ton of CDs in boxes and everywhere else. I lost everything on my iTunes with a computer SNAFU. So I have been slowly going back and putting CD to iTunes. I realized I only have the Alters of Madness on there so far. I need to change that.

I think I still have that disc somewhere, I should dig it out.
A lot people hate Domination, I don't get why. Some said that it was too 'commerical' or a 'sell-out' album. Don't get it.
Just printed a bunch of Mecian/Vega show flyers at Kinkos, off to practice to try out the modded ODB3, then probably cruise around putting up flyers. Feels good to get **** done. |

Lots of buzzing "thump" in your ears, like sitting in front of a giant sub or something. Will have to try other songs too
Oh, same thing happened with advaitic songs, but the chanting in the first track sounds like a truck driver and gave it away immediately |
