It's not doomy, but it'll be fast as ****. All of the songs should be about one minute or less. Lots of fuzz, too!

Northless was brutal, the bassist was using a Peavey cl 400 into a 8x10 with a fuzz war as his only pedal. The guitarist from Moon curse had a Matamp into green and orange 4x12s, sleep city. Bonerific. Lots of emporer but theyre pretty common here as them being from Chicago.
Awesome bands, handed out flyers, VEGA is going to rock this place. |

I like some Doom but it bores me to tears after awhile. I'm also the vocalist and I write all of the lyrics/ melodies and I'm finding it more and more difficult to come up with stuff when I'm not feeling the music.
I've spoken to both of the guys about tuning up and playing some more "stoner rockish" stuff, and brought a bunch of my own riffs in, but it never seems to go anywhere. So right now I'm really thinking about bowing out and taking some time off from doing the band thing.

I should say leave on good terms, give yourself some time off, then try to find some like minded individuals to make music with.

BTW, saw Cult of Luna yesterday. Crushing experience, really liked the new tracks. They started the set with I, the Weapon and then played Ghost Trail and Finland directly afterwards. F***ing awesome! |

The only things you heard were bass, drums and the singer, who was really entertaining to watch |
