There was a cool looking Demon King on TB classifieds this week too. I just don't see myself using feedback, and I got rid of my TAFM because I found out I am not much of a gated fuzz guy. So the Demon King was a little bit more than I want atm.
I may not need the clean blend as I picked up a Xotic X-Blender. It seems pretty cool, and as long as I keep it on my board, I guess I don't really need a clean blend on much of anything. Hrrrm...
Do you guys use feedback much?
@DeathbyDoom It looks like you have a lot of sweet gear in your neck of the woods man. These forums seem to be public enemy #1 for my bank account.

I have everything set so that it's on the verge of feedback, but if you're talking about the pedals with the feedback switches/knobs I can't really stand them. It's not the same at all.

Excedrine and coffee and kolaches. Hopefully I'll be human by 10am.

Man that Frodo and Sam, they're a real second half kind of team. |

So I think my rig is set for awhile, at least among my amps and cabs. You're lookin at a 70's Acoustic 370 pushing a Sunn 2x15 and my new fEARful 12/6's. I'm lovin the tonal upgrade of using the fEARful stack instead of another 2x15, theres alot more useable high-end cutting through the mix so my Grey Stache gets more love and more of my grit is heard amongst my guitarist's wall of sound. The whole stack still pumps super heavy lows, I feel like I have the same low end I had running 4x15's but with the addition of more useable highs. My envelope filter and wah sound super gnarly as well, cutting while again losing no low end. The only limiting factor in the rig is the Acoustic amp, not for power but just in clean headroom. Theres some sections of songs that I get kind of mushy due to the amp's natural breakup at the volume we're playing at. Makin me GAS now for a high-powered 2 ohm amp... any suggestions besides the standard power amp rig?

As far as a high-powered 2ohm amp, if your looking for cheap and tube I'd say check out a Peavey VB-2, 5-600$ used and pretty stellar. If your looking for a SS amp in the same price range I'd say a rackmount Sunn 1200s.

As far as a 2 Ohm stable high powered amp goes, how much power are you looking at wanting?
I dig my Peavey Mark VIII XP, 600 watts at 2 Ohms. I also dig my Carvin B1500, 2Kw at 2 Ohms.
Also keep an open mind on that power amp. Something like a Peavey IPR 1600 could be had at a very good price, and just about anything will drive it.
