Guys, I am having a hard time deciding what I actually want/need to fill the spot on my board. Feedback looper, overdrive, fuzz, wah, phaser, synth, delay, preamp, tuner.

I was looking at the octave fuzz, but now I don't know. Maybe more delay... Help! You know I am all about the budget pedals... I just can't figure out what I would use.

Octave Fuzz- Has it's uses but isn't for everyone.

Feedback looper- fun to fvck with when your high or to make awful noises.

Overdrive- Meh get some FUZZ

Phase- a nice simple slow phase can be really cool

Synth - Haven't thought about it at all since I picked up some Moog Taurus pedals

Delay - if you have the room sound wise to use it , it can be amazing

Preamp - Don't you have one in your amp?

Tuner - well everyone needs one of those but nobody likes buying them

Wah - can be very cool if used properly

Just me thoughts.

How do they sound? Glorious! Old SS break up is a bit like tube, but more grindy than smooth. They sound dirty but dont feedback much, you need a bit of a OD or light fuzz to push them into feedack. Dont underestimate those 200 watts. They will move a lot of speakers just fine and dandie. These SS sunn and acoustic heads are my fav, more so than a tube amp, Dunwich's stuff doesnt count in that though.

What about a 77 acoustic 220 head? There's one of them on Cl Houston. I thought someone in here was using one...

The concert will have more power, I think the 220 has 160 watts, but again these "70's watts" can get stupid loud when cranked, which is what your are supposed to do.

I am learning this too. I picked up a Xotic X-Blender and I have been really starting to dig it. For some things like the BB, I don't feel that I need it too much, but for other pedals, it is pretty bad azz. It just creates a lot of options of blending various tones that are not always there with just the pedals.

OK, That is some HAWT SHEEET! On the one hand, it is visually striking. But I can only imagine that it sounds impressive. I might just have to log some overtime and start saving for some such GB goodness. I wish you lived closer so I could check that bad boy out.

It thunders so gooooood!

I encourage everyone to go play a greenboy cab, may or may not be your thing but information of any kind can give you perspective. Mblue has been kind enough to assemble a fEARful users map, and maintains it. A huge under taking for him to be sure, but very useful. There might be a cab close enough for you to try.

Your pedal-work is stunning dude.
If my next preamp doesn't do it for me we are gonna have to talk about this volt thrower of yours. If it sounds anything like you describe, yum.
