So far it sounds amazing with my Ric and GK combo but the real test is gonna be with the Gibson/Sunn and the band. But I'm pretty excited to try it out, and with the little I messed with it's definitely a contender in the great pedalboard redesign I've been attempting. |

But its still a hissy ODB-3 underneath that big bottom. It does sound better in the band mix, I think that's because I'm using my Eclipse as the preamp to the power amp, not a distortion pedal like I am when I'm using my Yamaha. Either way, I'm basically using it as a bass boost, I get all my OD/grind from my Eclipse.
I may just sell it and get a bass boost, maybe an EHX Mole? Didn't someone just post a picture of a pedal board and have one, how do you like it?
EDIT: Went back, Tony you have the Mole, you also use a Sunn Concert, I see similarities here. Does it give you the thick bass that the Concert lacks? | Haha I actually just pulled the mole off the board. It's a good pedal and yeah it boosts the hell out of the low frequencies. Once I get a larger board it will go back on. |

I want to go up north to my cabin and throw a generator jam/show...on a huge house sized rock by my cabin, it was moved there by the glaciers back in the ice age.
The 9th is a Sunday, so the show would be on a smoke filled Saturday. Then Sunday, drink and fish all day. In the morning I plan to go to the local small grocery store and buy them out of beer and whiskey, just because I can. Steak dinner, because we wont catch anything fishing, more drinking. Bonfire, even more drinking. Clean up and hangover Monday.
It cant be a huge show, maybe one other band and a small group of friends. My cabin can fit like 10 with the floor as an option, and people could tent it. Really long, 3-4 hour sets, plenty of time to jam. I want it to be recorded somehow, video would be awesome but audio at least, photos, the works. Basically make it an awesome private show/jam on a big fvcking rock in the woods, that we could make into a live dvd/album.
Anyone interested in at least the show aspect?

Maybe I'll hold off on the mod. I find that keeping the treble below 3:00 helps with the hiss. I mean barely on, if it at all. Such a weird pedal. |

It's more than just a bass boost... if I understand right it's a lpb-1 with a huge cap in it that cuts highs and boosts lows and probably low mids. Cool pedal, wouldn't mind picking up another or one of those wren & cuff phat phuk b's, though that's pricier.

Have a box at my feet with the stuff I'm trying to sell on the classifides and have to ship my b3 after work. Then, I'll be ordering an el oso finally. I've instructed my wife not to touch the paypal account for a couple days until I do a few pedal deals =p. We'll see how that goes, lol.
