What's the mod? My Rat gets tones similar to his Abduction pedal. Whatever the Werewolf has has great low end.

I use a Boss LS-2. Simple, cheap and gets the job done. I bought it with the plan of testing out some blending and then buying an Xotic X-blender, but the Boss got the job done fine on its own for what I needed.

Cool, thanks! The dedicated blend pedals that are out there are really damn expensive for some reason.

As if GASing for bass gear want bad enough, I made the mistake of looking at 8X14 metal snare drums. I should not have done that. I wouldn't mind a Ludwig Black Magic, or some DW of similar stats.

Can't go wrong with a Black Magic. Excellent snares. Have you checked out Mapex Black Panthers? I've got a 6x14 hand hammered steel snare made by them and that thing is balls to the wall badass.

The start of a volume war! As long as he knows how to turn it down a bit, it should be awesome!

My guitar player just got a 350W fender rumble bass head for his rig. He uses the Amptweaker Tightmetal>other pedals>rumble 350. It's LOUD. We tune to B, so the extra watts help but It's surprisingly loud. If I tried to use a 350W amp for my bass I'd be buried.

I was worried that my 900W power amp wouldn't be enough but I think we're evenly matched now. We just re-arranged the practice space set up as well, so now we can hear each other better and we're working to EQ ourselves out of the other's space. Seems to be working. He over does the bass and I over-do the mids so it's good to step back a bit and make the whole band mix sound better.

I'm buying a svt -cl tomorrow and I'm gonna run it through a 4 ohm ampeg 4x10 1x15
I was wondering if I'd run into problems if chained it to my 8 ohm sunn 2x15?

I would not run a mismatched load with a tube amp. Better to get a different set of speakers or see if you can rewire the sunn.
