Good that you ensure a spot for beer.

not only a spot for beer.. a beer holder. my bass vibrates anything off the top of my amp and often over on stage so a well-fixed beer cosy is gonna do me wonders.

Not nearly as much as most of my peers, I think I'm the only guy I know within 10 years of my age who doesn't listen to a lot of it or listened to it a lot in junior high and high school. Of course that was when gangster rap was really big and I was into metal and punk, so I didn't really get into it that much apart from a little bit of the old stuff like Run DMC, Young MC and stuff like that. Even then, very little. Most of my non metal and punk listening was jazz, blues and classic rock.

I'm trying to make up my mind on a Class D power amp, to use along with the forthcoming Dunwich Preamp pedal and my Tech 21 character series based guitar setups. All my tube amps aren't going anywhere, so I'm not concerned about having a tube power amp, just something light and loud to use with all the different modular pedalboard rigs. I'm trying to decide between the Peavey IPR 1600, the Crest Pro-Lite 2.0 or a Carvin model. They're all fairly close in price, Peavey being the cheapest, but I'm a little concerned about the reliability with that one. Seems like there's a lot of stories of them blowing up out there. Though I'm aware that a lot of people misuse and/or misunderstand the realistic ratings of power amps.
Krank D 800 "dirty valve"

Give it a chance

Sorry a little inebriated. Hip hop, the newest coolest hip hop sh*t I've heard is Dalek.
For non underground hip hoppers.... super noisey primal dirty hip hop. My Bloody Valentine samples, super distorted nasty sh*t, and it's intelligent rap style. Cool stuff.
So raw so original(as far as I know) so gnarly

fvcking amazing

Oh and chiptune posts, I'll have to catchup in the morning...afternoon. But the reason I said Renoise is because they have all the big boys chipped/sampled. So I could track nes and sega bass....

Pedalboard nearing completion...
Didn't get much done today, but it does look better with another coat of paint.
Also pictured: Big arsed disability rail handle to be mounted.

Haha thanks for digging it up man, no idea this existed.

One on the way here as well... I just can't pass on anything sleep

Oh, did someone mention about seeing them live in a few months (among other bands)? Was it in the previous thread or something?

how are you liking the Oxfuzz? Bluebeard is a good choice, it will give you a totally different tone than the Ox.

Got to try FoF distortion at practice last night. It is probably 99% there and everything a Rat wishes it was. As much low end as the Bluebeard at equal volume settings and enough bite to cut through almost anything, where the Bluebeard has a softer attack this is mich more like a Rat. Not that they are remotely the same pedal but the contrast is awesome to have without having the low end drop off.
