By his own admission he'd never played bass before he joined the band and was shown the basic chords by the two guitarists so hope for all us budding newbies surely and listening to their 1998 epic Six, where he basically plays eighths and sixteenths you can see why....funny though it adds to the doom laden sound of a very dark intense record.

Didn't Paul Draper play most of the bass on the albums? Great band though. Six is one of the great underestimated albums of the 90's.

Draper is credited on the album with vocals and rythym guitar.....dunno maybe he did fill in.......I agree Six is a very underrated album that seems to be gaining late acceptance these days.
