Sub needed in Denver Colorado

I hope this is correct place for this:

The band is Funkiphino. We play primarily 70’s funk/disco/dance music; TOP, EWF, Stevie Wonder, etc – with some 80’s Journey type stuff thrown int. We play 80-85 shows a year and play a variety of clubs and very high profile gigs. We are a 10 piece band.

This is a bass players dream job. Problem is, my non-dream job takes me away from this one at times and I need a sub. I am really tired of great players that are truly great players-and as such, don’t feel the need to prepare, be professional and think they can just walk in and wing it. This is not the case with Funkiphino. We have a great reputation earned from years of work.

I need someone who will learn the material or at least take some time so they are not looking at charts for the first time when they hear the downbeat. I will definitely get together with the player a few times to review forms. There could be opportunity to play once a month or more or less.

Please check out www.funkiphino.com . There are cover and original demos there. We are also on Garage Band. Hit search and type in Funkiphino. You can see our schedule hear music as well.

If you are interested please email me from my public profile.

Thanks
