Suzanne Vega- Bassist?

I've just heard a live Suzanne Vega gig on the car radio. One particular tune, I believe it may have been called 'Left of Centre' judging by the lyrics, featured a fantastic bit of bass playing which, other than the vocal, was the entire song. I actually pulled over to listen to this wonderful song.

Does anyone know who the bass player is? They have an incredible growly tone, I guessed it was a Stingray.

If it makes a difference, the gig was from June's Isle of Wight festival.

I've been a big fan too! He sure knows how to frame a vocalist with hip basslines. His spotlight column in Bass Guitar magazine always has great players that might be under the radar, but like him deserve some props.
