I believe this was recorded at FAME studio in Muscle Shoals and released on Stax.

As far as I recall the bass is uncredited.
My best guess would be David Hood.

Thanks, that would make sense. I was just reading that Otis Redding had a hand in producing that record. I've alway liked it.
