Anyone here a fan of his? I think his playing and his tone is freaking awesome! Especially in this song Week End!!

Anyone know how to achieve his sound or somewhat similar? It's hard to find any info on him.

I'm a huge fan of the guy, really love his work. Awesome bassist, thanks to him I gave a little more attention to pick playing.

Taiji is a Peavey guy when it comes to his amps if I recall, if you watch the D.T.R Gig on YouTube you'll see.

He also played with chorus, and for that bass riff he does on occasions, you'll need yourself any distortion, and a Pitch Shifter, The BOSS Super SHifter for guitar is one I reccomend to you.

He also uses/used a Musicman 5 String, the Killer Taiji Bass (Sig Model) and the Killer Impulss bass, he had a Red/Black and Blue one, and in his early days, he used a few old eights BC Richs.

Hope that helps.
