When did Jack Bruce EVER play with a pick?

I must say I generally prefer pick players (although Jack is the all time best to me, and I seldom use a pick myself), foremost among them to me are Jim Lea and Felix Pappalardi.

I personally enjoy Sixx's basslines, and he is one of my favorite pick players, along with Eric Avery, JPJ, and Duff.

From what ive read of these forums, people either overrate him as a bass god (he's not), or say that he is ****ty (he's not). He is a solid rock bassist, is actually pretty damn good live, and has actually never declared himself as a virtuoso or "the greatest bassist ever" like a certain egotistical Jaco.

Anyways enough ranting, I think some particular cool licks from Nikki Sixx include:

-Rock N' Roll Junkie
-Don't Go Away Mad
-Same Ol Situation (at least right before and during the guitar solo).
-Rattlesnake Shake
-Sticky Sweet (during the guitar solo)
-Shout At the Devil
-Ten Seconds To Love
-Bits and pieces from the Too Fast For Love Album

Actually while Im at it, Im going to whore out Eric Avery's lines from Jane's Addiction, because he is criminally unrecognized in here and other forums. Almost all his basslines are amazing, but some rather inspirational (or just plain cool ones) include:

-Mountain Song
-Ted Just Admit It
-Up The Beach
-Summertime Rolls
-Ain't No Right
-Three Days
-Classic Girl

Yeah, these are just a sample of good pick-style basslines I enjoy playing.
