Evil J from Otep, even if you think the band is emo or too dramatic...he's still a good bassist with lots of training and experience. He inspired me to pick up the bass (and why I started with a five string and have never played anything less).

I can't think of anything else other than maybe the most recent bass player in Kittie, I don't really care much for their music but she still plays it well. I know that I'm forgetting someone, I might update later. |

I wouldn't put him between these guys who are mentioned above. Good music, but his bassplaying is rather basic.
