Saw the Van's Warped Tour yesterday and was impressed by the bassist for Shooter Jennings - Ted Russell Kamp. I loved his approach to Shooter's southern tinged music, but he seemed to have many other influences -

He says he has a "pad" under his strings to get a more muted sound like Carol Kaye or Jamerson. Anyone know anything more about him? Love the bass rig - and a tasty player to boot!
