A rare opportunity to see the great John Paul Jones live on American TV is happening now (well on the east coast at least).

The vocals seemed a little low to me. Music sounded great!

Saw these guys play live in Brisbane Australia a couple of weeks back, it was amazing. If you get the chance, definitely go and see them, you won't regret it!!

Nice seeing JPJ sing some backups (even I couldn't hear them). Man, how much of a kick up the ass must it be to have Dave Grohl on drums? That guy just starts on 11 and takes it up from there.

They sounded great (no surprise there) but the mix was atrocious. Glad I got to see the performance though.

i loved it! that is one class act of a band. not a single one of them is iffy on their insrument.

theres over 100 years of collective experince wrapped up in those 3... no telling how many albums sold.

That was John Paul Jones? Had no idea, as I hadn't seen a photo of him in many years. The only one I recognized was Dave Grohl.

But I was wondering why the bassist was getting so much more camera time than is usually the case on SNL. Mystery solved...
