If you are looking for folks to play with, I would say check out www.milwaukeerocks.com
There are a lot of bands looking for bass players, and not all of them are based in Milwaukee. Or, you could post a "Bassist available" ad. That's what I did when I moved up to Milwaukee not knowing anyone in the area. I got a lot of replies - you should be able to find someone that way. |

My wife is from Waukesha and she went to school in Steven's Point. I've spent many drunken nights in Madison..haha...love that town. My old band used to rehearse in Fond Du Lac. But now, I live in Omaha...which is better than it sounds. |

I'll buy you a brew!
My ex-gfs sister went to Point as well as her husband, he then went on to Madison for his PhD.
Speaking of Point, I enjoy Point beer here and there, but it's hard to find this far south. We used to drive up there with our empties and return them for a nice discount on our next purchase. It was always better tasting from the brewery.
I too know the perils of being inebriated in Madison, it's probably the best place to find yourself in the most absurd scenarios while being drunk.
That being said, I'm only 24 and don't drink to often lol.

I come back quite often... our parents are in Milwaukee and Oconomowoc.
Are there TB get-togethers in Wisconsin??! I think I already personally know every TBer in Omaha. Quote:

Let me know if you come and I'll open up the Man Cave for some bassmania. |
