I haven't heard of this guy?

I've never seen anyone play like him. Apparently he started off on violin. Who else plays like this?

I've watched that video a few times over the years and I still don't get it. Obviously he pretty much rips like that so I guess it's not a big deal. The funny part is about half way through his solo he drops it down and plays normal for awhile and proceeds to rip it like that as well, I guess just to prove that he can play like that he just chooses to play in that reach around like style. Honestly is his decision and obviously he's not inhibited but aesthetically it's still a bit of a mind-f**k. He's still the only person I've ever seen or heard of playing like that, and everyone I show that video to is just as dumb-founded. Whatever works I guess, right?

I wish I could get a good close up view of his right hand though. I think it's great he has his own thing going on.
