thiago espirito santo is the son of the legendary SAMBA bassist
of all time: luizao maia who invented a single playin stile of samba worldwide famous...
(who played with elis regina, among others...)
the best thing is that he does not sound as a copy of other player, his family is very musical and he is very inovative...
here is the link of his album , wich is
amazing, by the way...

| | | The song in the video is not samba at all!!!
Its a mix of frevo with jazz, something like that, but not samba.
btw...i really like the groove of frevo, after its a musical style from my state

Sorry to possibly put a dampener on things, but has he agreed to his album being distributed free of charge?
Cheers,

I put this link [already uploaded by someone else]

this was not my intention...
sorry for something, but as I said this was already uploaded and
very very shared [the couter said over 4000 times]...
If this is against some rules in TB,plese show me them
to read, and I apologize...of course...
in this case, I wont point links no more... and I have many of them...

enjoy dear friends... http://www.megaupload.com/pt/?d=Q7449101 | Hi everybody
First post here, longtime lurker. Never had anything to contribute, untill now...
Sorry Neto, I have to disagree here. Thiago's father is Arismar do Espirito Santo, another great Brazilian bassist/guitarrist. Luizao's son is Ze Luis Maia, also a great bassist. Luizao was Arthur Maia's uncle, too. I would like to have been born in that family...
BTW, where in Brazil are you? |
