I don't think anyone doubts Hadrien's greatness. I'm not a fan of such a honky upper middy sound, but I really like how he plays. Hey, what can I say? I never cared for Jaco's sound all that much, either, but I loved his playing.

I don't think anyone would doubt that he can play.
I think the discussions were mostly about subjective likes and dislikes-taste.

I caught him and his band in Paris a couple of years ago and wow! They are smoking!
