so I was just totally jamming to Audioslave's first release... and I think that Tim Comerford sits in a ridiculous groove! anybody else think this fellow is really underrated? anyone know about any of his influences? I love Rage and Audioslave, have for a long time, but his bass playing just blows me away every time.

Yeah Tims amazing, ive tried so hard to get his dirty, gritty tone, ive bought a marshall guv'nor pedal and put the gain on 1 - 2 so you can have that slight crunch tone, it does the trick for me.
