Just an update, seeing as how it's been over for a week or so.
Team Surfing USA (Timmy's team) made it 2000 of the 1000 or so miles when a crash ended their race.
Jason Winn was accidentally driven off the road by a competing team's RV, and the team opted to stop racing. They lead much of the 4-man team race.
