On the EMG website it says that Tom Araya uses the EMG 35DC (which is what is in his signature bass). That makes sense. What doesn't is the fact that it says he also uses the EMG 40 DC (which is for 5 string). When does he use a 5 string? Also says he uses an EMG MMTW (his bass doesn't have the space for a musicman style pickup). Does anyone have any answers to this? Also on another note, he switched to Marshall for Slayer's last album. I'm assuming he used the VBA400, can anyone varify this?
