I also liked the Donny Hathaway transcription...all these years & never knew that tune was played (by Hathaway) with a Fender Piano Bass. Man!

I was lucky enough to assist on a week of sessions Tommy was producing a few years ago. Truly a brilliant and gifted individual. The guy really gets "inside" the song.

Also cool: answering the phone when Stevie Wonder calls the studio looking for Tommy.
