Unbelievable

Jaco meets Willis meets Wooten with some Pat Metheny thrown in for good measure!

Yo J Z....

sampled "White woods" ( fancy myself a woodsman ) .. and...

"Free Fall " ( AIRBORNE!) ...... whoa... the groove in Free Fall is superb and on these cheesy speakers in the office, some ghost plucks/thump sounds on White Woods that fit mint.... NICE.... Tony Grey, eh....

Yeah, he's yet another guy who can solo with incredible virtuousity but still lays down a heavy groove.

Seems like they're falling out of the sky these days.

I think he can become a real great- some of his playing is a bit "unfocused" at times, but he's also young (he's only been playing 10 or 11 years). I really dig him. Haven't gotten the solo album though.

If you get chance download the album (or get CD ) of his solo album it is diverse and good listening and not too bass franetic. Also have a listen to his playing on Hiromis album, which I really like too. Another happening force in the bass world.
