Tony Levin in Philly Sat, Nov 10th

Tony is going to be performing with the California Guitar Trio on Saturday Nov 10th at World Cafe Live in Philly (7:00-8:30). If anyone is interested
, I have an extra ticket you can have for free. The guy that was going to go had other commitments and I hate going to concerts solo. Will be driving from the Baltimore area.

It's a small club show, so it's probably the closest I'd get to Tony at a concert. The seats are on the mezzanine. Not sure if I picked the side closest to Tony or not. I had a 50/50 chance, so I probably picked incorrectly.

I'm not sure how much he'll be playing bass and how much he'll be playing Stick. But hell, it's Tony Levin. I wouldn't mind watching him play a rubber band (no insult to Ashbory fans.)

If I weren't going to be at reahearsal, I'd go for sure, and it's a nice offer. One of my former bandmates would go too, but he's playing out Saturday night. Oh well.

If you haven't been to the venue before, you're in for a treat. It's excellent. I've seen Los Lobos in there, which was incredible.

Have a great time at the show. Wish I could join you.
