To me personally:

Richard Bona
Gary Willis
Matthew Garrison
Vic is a given so i am not going to go there

Bona and Willis are both extremely musical and extremely technical players and i respect them immensely and love both of their work.
Garrison is part of the new breed of players (along with guys like janek gwizdala and hadrien feraud) and he added an entirely new technique to my playing and has a very contemporary approach to fusion songwriting which i really dig.

I actually think Michael Anthony is a good bass player.

My list would be, in this order

Michael Manring
Hadrien Feraud
John Myung

Edit: With Edgar Meyer thrown in as a nod to the Upright guys.
