I will start off:

John Entwhistle--The Who
Leo Lyons- Ten Years After
Chris Squire- Yes
Greg Lake- King Crimson & Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Jack Bruce- Cream & West, Bruce and Laing

with an honorable mention to Roger Glover of Deep Purple.

I'm coping their names from other posts, sorry I'm not up on the names of some of the bass players in rock bands.
John Paul Jones---Led Zep.
Paul McCartney---Beatles
I don't know the fellows name from the original Zoombies line up but I did some gigs with them on their first USA tour and he was very solid and smooth. That band was a very entertaining band and stole the show from the Animals & Yardbirds and the duos were Peter & Gordon (not sure thats correct) and Chad & Jerry. The Zoombies front man was a maniac hahaha!!! but the audiances loved him.
Leo Lyons---Ten Years After, they are an extremely hard working hard performing unit. First saw them at the Boston Tea Party in 1968 (I think) with Sha Nah Nah soooo hahaha!!! They were good sha nah nah weren't!!!! I thought that Mr. Lyons hands were gonna fall of when they covered "Goin Home" (didn't know his name so thanks to "Lonesomedave". Knew a guitarists named that a long time ago, might you be him??? Doc

Mark O'Toole
Nick Beggs
Stuart Zender
Neil Murray

Great shout with Tom Jenkinson. Have been wading through some over indulgent drivel and finding some stunningly good stuff!
