Troy Sanders is the Colonel's Great Grandson?

Mastodon has been my favorite band for a number of years now, and I've just found this information out. At first i thought it was a rumor when i found it out, but after some looking around on the web, I haven't been able to find anything that says otherwise.

If this is true, then my life is complete. This is the best information i have ever received.
