Trying to determine year of Svt 4 pro

I just bought this used at GC and has the newer generation face on it but, the serial number is 2629A and no bar code. Made in USA. Based of the research I did it would be a 85 correct? Is this possible that someone changed the front panel? Thanks

first off, this should go in amps. second, the svt 4 pro came out in 1997 or 8. third, check out Dating Ampeg Amplifiers to learn how to interpret ampeg serials up till loud bought them.
