talented or not, they were doomed from the get-go. |

AAF just playedwith a bunch of bands in Detroit at a show called "The Night 89X stole Christmas", it goes on every year and features many bands...this year they had 311, Coheed & Cambria, Our Lady Peace and of course Alient Ant Farm..there were others too that do not come to mind at this moment.
Cantstandsya - so you played a show with AAF? Tell us about your experience man.
The custom made Fender Tye usues is very badass!

Edit: regarding his rig, that show had the worst concert sound I have ever heard. I did not hear a note of the bass, just a buzzy mush. He was really entertaining to watch, and he was all over the bass, but what it sounded like, I have no notion. Sound for 311 was much better, though not great.
I just can't figure out, with the quality of the equipment available, why live sound is worse than it has ever been...

The custom made Fender Tye usues is very badass! | One of the bands that I play in(Greenbrier Lane) opened up for them at the Bank Of The West Beach Games last year.We got little spot on a Fox Sports Net show called Fusion TV that showed us playing and a little interview. He was playing his custom Fender and SWR rig.I didn't really talk to him but I spoke with the drummer a little bit and he was pretty cool.Their downfall was the tour bus accident that almost killed their singer. You can still see the scars on his neck from the neck brace/halo type thing they had on him.Anyways, they sounded really good but didn't seem to have too much of a following there to see them........... |
