Thanks bro, nah it's not, it's just a heavily modified P.

I'll go from the start.
- Dad bought it second hand ages ago (it's originally a '72!)
- When he got it, it was 3TSB, tort PG, with the J pup in the bridge.
- At some point in time, a Badass II was added and refinished in white, and then 3ply BWB pickguard added
It's been like that for ages.
- Recently, Pups swapped for Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders
- White taken off, left natural, Stingray style control plate added, which Dad had lying around the garage.
- Dunlop strap locks added

It's a great sounding bass, and the neck is great, frets just need a dressing, but I've "inherited" as dad mostly plays his Cort acoustic.

At some point in time I will probably put the black PG back on and see what that looks like, but that will be when I can be bothered.
I don't think I'll ever sell it, for two reasons
1. Lots of sentimental value, first bass, great sound etc.
2. Wouldn't get much

By the way, I'm 17, 18 in a couple of months

must say though, luke, that bass is incredible.
i love the basassII bridge i dropped into my MIM jazz, but ever since leo quan's passing, theyve hiked in price to around 200 dollars on ebay due to halted production
i miss my p/j charvel but its in a much hotter place now.
