UPDATE on switching from DRUMS to BASS!!

Sign in to disble this ad
just wanted to keep you guys updated on how the switch to bass is going. we just got back from tour, my first tour on bass, and the first 2 shows were really awkward for me on a new instrument, but i'm really starting to enjoy playing bass. here's a few pictures from our show tonight. feedback and tips are very much appreciated!

thanks guys for all your help, even if you didn't directly help me, just being able to come on here and read about bass stuff has helped me out a lot in learning about bass. you're mostly all awesome people from what i've seen. =]

sure am! the svt3pro works really well at getting the exact sound i want and making that little mustang sound like a much bigger bass. BUT, for whatever reason, (according to ampeq) it's not powerful enough to power the 8x10 cab, so every few months it smokes out and i have to take it to the shop. so look out for that. the svt4 is what i'm saving up for.

let me know how you like it!! i would totally trade down to a 6x10 if the sound was about the same.
