DE CURE FOR DE CUIR
For those of you who don’t know, NAMM Bass Bash organizer, Pete DeCuir was diagnosed with Leukemia, has started chemotherapy, and was about to cancel the event.
We in the bass world didn’t want to see that happen so we got together to make sure that not only did this event happen but also to turn this into a fundraising event for Pete.
As always, there will be no admission to this event but we will be accepting donations for Pete in honor of all the time and effort he has spent supporting the bass community. Please make all checks out to Pete DeCuir. Thanks to generous donations of time and gear, 100% of the donations will go directly to Pete and his family.
Thanks to all the Talkbassers who have and continue to support this event. As bass players, our job is to support the song. Supporting our own is the natural extension of what we do.
Let’s make this the biggest, best Bass Bash ever.
