Ya, it's a bright sound but it's also got some mass on the bottom and some meat in the mids. How did you record the bass?

BTW, I know it's all you making that bass sound great, but sometimes it's fun to know what you used

I played through a Super Redhead and they just miked it from about 6 feet away ( large diaphragm condenser, I don't remember what it was)

Vail you're still one funky dude and I've always enjoyed your playing! To me That kenny G Live was/is off the chain! I saw the live show back then and it was even better! the new cd sounds very interesting. I hope to pick it up real soon.
